Family Retreat 2023

The 2023 RED-C Apostolate and Ablaze Ministries Family Retreat was an amazing experience for families from across Central Texas and the Brazos Valley! 

Starting with Mass, Confession, and Adoration of the Holy Eucharist, families were fed spiritually with the sacraments, then parents enjoyed some uninterrupted time together as they took in a number of talks in English and Spanish, focusing on 1) Forgiveness, 2) Patience and kindness, and 3) Humility and the Eucahrist. 

At the same time, according to age group, children enjoyed short lessons from instructors and volunteers, as well as faith-inspired activities to help them expend some energy.

Then all were fed with an amazing lunch prepared by the St. Louis Knights of Columbus, Council 8135, and dinner prepared by the West Knights of Columbus, Council 2305, with incredible deserts provided by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Sacred Heart 829, of West, TX. 

It was a truly amazing and inspiring event with a record number of families in attendance. We look forward to bringing you this experience again in 2024!
