23rd ANNUAL KJZT COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER GARAGE SALE
Labor Day - Monday, September 4, 2023 – 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

KJZT FAMILY LIFE (K.J.Z.T. No. 6, Bryan) is holding its 23rd Annual Community Fundraiser Garage Sale for Charities on Monday, September 4th from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the St. Joseph Elementary School, Travis Street Gym located one block East of St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Center in Bryan.  Gym entrance is to the right of the circular drive.  Parking is in the lot across the street.

The net proceeds will benefit several community charitable entities, including RED-C Catholic Radio, St. Joseph's Catholic Church & School, and other local charities. 

DONATIONS ACCEPTED:  

Useable furniture  - good CLEAN clothing (clothing on hangers welcome) - shoes, purses, hats & caps – bedding & linens - books & music  - kitchen items -  working appliances & equipment - lamps – school supplies – games & toys – bicycles - live plants (please label) – pictures & paintings – knick knacks – miscellaneous household items – tools & sports equipment - seasonal items - CASH  DONATIONS! 

For electronics, equipment, appliances, and other items in good working condition, please provide a 3x5 card describing the item, how it works, garage sale value, and preferably an owner’s manual, securely taped to the item. Be sure to wrap and secure all electrical cords, strings, ropes, and loose items.

Signs on tables in areas will be visible for where to place items. 
 

NO JUNK, PLEASE.  ALSO, CANNOT ACCEPT:  Large desks or office furniture, out of date computers, TVs  & equipment, water beds, mattresses, medical equipment, and dusty items.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Large trash bags, large paper grocery bags, large cardboard boxes, shoe & cigar boxes, crates, plastic bins, 2” clear Duck Tape, strapping tape, 1” masking tape, box cutters, hangers, permanent markers (Sharpies-black, red, grey), price tags, 6 or 8ft. tables to donate or just use at sale, dollies and carts for unloading... but most of all, we need YOU to VOLUNTEER!
  

DROP-OFF TIMES:
 

Saturday, September 2 (10-6), and Sunday, September 3 (1-4). 
 

Sorry, no one is available to pick up items.  (Circular drive has a ramp and room for several cars going one-way only.  Please adhere to signs posted.) 
 

VOLUNTEERS: 

We need a lot of help setting up, loading and unloading vehicles, sorting, boxing and unboxing, setting up tables, tagging and hanging, pricing, etc. all four (4) days.  Even a few hours of your time is great help.  LUNCH of pizza and refreshments will be served in two shifts around the noon hour to our volunteers on SATURDAY in the Parish Activity Center.
 
We have FUN, too!  YOU ARE DOING THE WORK OF A SERVANT and are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
 

LEFT-OVERS:

Twin City Mission will not be able to pick up our items on Labor Day, but we will still box and bag the items and load them on a trailer at 3:00 pm Monday, September 4, so we need help to be ready for them and clean the gym afterwards.
