Job Description RED-C Apostolate: Religious Education for the Domestic Church Administrative Coordinator
Our Mission: The RED-C Apostolate will communicate Christian truth as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Its mission is to empower families in the spiritual formation of the family members as they grow in holiness. The focus of the apostolate is to assist families in the integration of the Catholic Faith within the context of their daily lives. The RED-C Apostolate is intended to be a supplement to the primary religious education done in the home or in the parish.
Overview: The Administrative Coordinator will help the RED-C Apostolate ("RED-C") spread the knowledge, love and practice of the Catholic Faith through the fulfillment of assigned responsibilities. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing a variety of administrative coordination and clerical tasks; providing support to all on the team; assisting in daily office needs; managing general administrative schedules and activities; assisting in the planning and coordination of fundraising activities; and ensuring the highest quality and reliable service to promote the mission of RED-C.
Qualifications Required:
High School degree and some college experience
Working knowledge of office equipment, like computers, printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Qualifications Desired:
Proven experience as an office administrative coordinator
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Additional qualifications as an administrative coordinator
Possible Duties:
Work with Executive Director
Office paperwork and filing
Weekly and monthly EAS Logs for all stations
Keeping FCC public file up to date
Quarterly Issues and Programs Reportsank deposits into Quickbooks
Paying various bills for all RED-C Apostolate programs
Keeping up with subscriptions, dues, and licenses
Arranging for board meeting agenda, minutes, and sometimes food
Insurance renewal
Music Licensing quarterly reports
Coordination with CPA for annual tax return
Coordination of remote broadcast times and places
Human resources issues and coordination
Studio and office scheduling
Work with Director of Education and Development
Inserting donor data into Bloomerang Donor Management System
Learning the Bloomerang system and integrating into all apostolate operations
Writing frequent thank you notes to donors and underwriters
Monthly donation reminder mailout
Calling Previous donors who have not given in a while
Calling unfulfilled pledges
Calling lapsed monthly donors
Calling donors whose credit cards or other donation method have faulted
End of year tax statements and mailout
Recruiting of new underwriters for the RED-C stations
Keeping up with underwriters and summary reports, invoices, and renewals
Benefit diners coordination and planning
Work with Director of Evangelization and Outreach
Writing frequent thank you notes to volunteers and clergy
Quarterly RED-C Newsletter
Website maintenance and development
Monthly email communication to our email list
Promotions in local parish bulletins
Social media outreach and coordination
Volunteer schedules, coordination, and recruiting
Family retreat assistance and some coordination
Work with Coordinator of Youth Sports
Inserting donor data into LeagueApps Donor Management System
Learning the LeagueApps system and integrating into all apostolate operations
Other duties as assigned
Part-Time (up to 30 hours) Pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
